About

Kenton Guarian

I’m Kenton Guarian. I work across data analysis, software, and biological signal research—translating complicated systems into evidence people can actually use.

Overview

Data analysis, software development, and signal research.

My path runs from a mathematics education at UC San Diego and men’s lacrosse to neural time-series software in the Voytek Lab, consumer intelligence at NielsenIQ, and research on how breathing, brain, and cardiac signals carry information.

Current

NielsenIQ

Working with consumer and market data in San Diego, with an eye toward clear decisions rather than decorative dashboards.

Research software

Voytek Lab

Software development and analysis for neural time series, including a research-participation platform and neural burst detection work.

Publication

Sleep signals

Co-authored research studying cardiovascular and sociocultural factors in sleep-breathing patterns across a large Hispanic/Latino cohort.

Patent

ECG waveforms

Named inventor on a UCSD-linked patent for interpretable electrocardiogram waveform parameterization and cardiac-health analysis.

Methods and tools

Technical range in service of clear, useful analysis.
